Tammy Jardine's Warnings
I had no warning what was about to happen…but then if I think back about different things that happened, I had warnings for 15 plus years.
I have a heart murmur which has nothing to with the hole in my heart. I was getting heart palpitation, which I thought were caused the heart murmur and stress.
The one warning, that was significant, was the day my Dad died. He died at around 7:00am on January 4, 1996. At this time I was going to work and had the worst heart palpitation while I was driving to work. I took my breath away and I almost had to pull over, but then it away.
After I got home at 7:00pm I hear about my Dad. He had an accident when he cut down a tree, a tree hit him and killed him. You
know that saying, "Work never killed no one". It's not true in my Dad's case. He used to be a Logger and he was at work.
I chalk up my heart palpitation to a sense of my Dad dieing.
My Dad and I were really close. I used be call "the son my Dad never had". I used to go hunting and fishing with him. I watch him fix cars, trucks, boats, etc. It got to a point that he wanted to be there just in case he had extra parts and help with figuring out where the went.
Multiple time my Mom had health problems, all after my Dad died.
She had a kidney out because cancer, and a brain tumor out. She has Crohn's which made her have to be if the hospital multiple times. She has problems with blood clot.
When she got the brain tumor out I knew she was going to be okay, but had to thru a lot ups and downs. Surgery was a success; she
was walking the halls the very next day, and freely speaking. We have a joke "The Surgeon took out the brain tumor and greased up her tongue. She had a form of aphasia, and by removing the brain tumor it was cured almost instantly.
After the surgery her problems with blood clots and then hemorrhaging, almost killed her.
At this point I remember have heart palpitated often. My work wasn't any easier either. But I made it thru it.
I wish I had said something to my doctor, but I thought it was normal to have heart palpitations. WRONG!!! It not normal and I learned the hard way because I had a stroke.
